What Is Give Up Your Birthday?
We all get things we don't need for our Birthdays, so the World of Children Awards suggests that this year, instead of asking for presents for your Birthday, you ask your friends to make a donation that will go towards making life better for vulnerable children everywhere. After you've made your donation to your friend, make sure that you set up your own Birthday Page and spread the good!

Why I am Giving Up my Birthday:
I am giving up my birthday 2 ways: happily and readily. In a world of gift bags and star treatment there is not one more thing I need or want. I am the luckiest girl in the world and I would like to celebrate the good fortune I have in growing another year older by giving back. Yes. This year I would like something TRULY useful.
What I am giving my Birthday to:
The World of Children Awards is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children everywhere. Not only do they help kids, but they also set the gold standard of excellence in child advocacy through their Awards program. The World of Children Awards discovers people across the world who have dedicated their lives to helping children, vets the quality of what they are doing, honors them with an Award, and provides a grant that must be used only for their noble work for children.
